History of the Power of Prayer Conference

The Power of Prayer Conference was founded by Jesus Christ!. The conference was birthed out of prayer shut up with God for 3 days with no interference from phone, tv, people or any distractions for being in the presence of the Lord

The Lord spoke and said teach and equip the saints about prayer.Ephesians 4:11-12 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. I Corinthians 4:20 There is Power of Prayer, Power in Prayer and Power with Prayer. He said my church is a universal church and the House of Prayer is for all nations. "For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." Isaiah 56:7. When we spend time in prayer we are able to received instructions from the Lord about our purpose and daily plans in our life.

Paula early beginnings in prayer began at the age of 14 while teaching pre-k Sunday school at Greater Northeast Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. After college, she became more interested in the prayer ministry at Love UMC headed by Rev. Jacqueline Shaw. Paula accepted her calling under the leadership of Dr. Michael L. Bowie, Jr. She began to pray for the sick and shut in at hospitals, personal care homes, nursing homes and where ever the Lord would send her. It was not uncommon, the church knew she and her spiritual mother, Sister Bertha Washington would go pray from house to house, after church. Paula held prayer shut ins and consecration services in her home quite frequently.

In 2001, The Lord began to move on Paula in street ministry and emergency crisis centers. She would pray and help others who were abandon, lost, homeless and etc. The first Power of Prayer Conference was in 2002. It kept growing and the Healing and Deliverance services were held with it. The word is clear, we have to deny ourselves and become servants of the Lord. She shepherd the Holy Arm International Church in Houston. She move to Dallas out of the obedience to God and then an open door to serve one of the largest Mega Churches in Dallas was presented.

Paula is a vessel of mercy chosen by God for such a time as this. She is Ordained minister, Chaplain and Certified Christian Counselor, the CEO of Holy Arm Ministries, Inc., Providing Leading Solutions, LLC, Author and Founder of Easy Steps Learning Series and currently shepherds the Holy Arm International Church in North Dallas.
